President’s Message

The Board of Directors wishes to extend a "Thanks and Well done" to all of the following:  Steve Wood,  Skip Wealty, Mark Klove, Jim Roop, Al Croteau, Brad Reichter, Al Niebrzydowski, Dick Reichter, John Leone, Jimmy Lumbard and all of the sidewalk superintendents who offered their expertise before, during and after construction.  We have a truly remarkable facility; first class, in keeping with the way we do things here at ASC.

On August 10th Ms. Susan Langlois, Program Administrator, Hunter Education Programs, Massachusetts Fisheries and Wildlife, came to the club, performed her necessary inspection and presented us with a check for $7000.00, the Grant awarded to us towards the project.  She was very favorably impressed with how the project turned out.  We took advantage of the opportunity to show her around the facilities and I am sure she went away with a very positive view of our premises.

We are now planning to stain the structure.  Any member who is a painter and would like to submit a bid on the job may do so by contacting Jim Roop.

We can all be proud of what we have accomplished here; from the Grant process to the members who submitted bids to the members who actually did the construction and the many ideas that were submitted by others as we went along.   A thank you to all.
