President’s Message

"In the good ole summer time....In the good ole summer time...."

Well, we finally made it from the long New England Winter to Summertime.

We've had a successful Spring Work Party...twenty-seven members and guests showed up, more than we've had in recent memory.

The Fishing Derby went off as planned, well staffed with help, and plenty of fun for the youngsters.

The Trap Shelter will be in the process of being painted when this goes to press.  New Nets have been installed.

The 25 yard berm on the Outdoor Range has been raised.

A new exhaust motor has been installed in the Indoor Range.

The Pistol Class continues to fill every seat and new members continue to join at a record pace.

At the June Board of Directors Meeting, the Board voted a $1500 donation to the Merrimack Valley Striders, a sponsoring organization of a 5K and 10K run and a children's Olympics to be held on July 3 in North Andover. 

The winner of the Compound Bow donated by Sean Callanan and Bass Pro Shop will be drawn at noon time on June 13, the date of our next Archery shoot.

Congratulations to Artie Najem on his 90th birthday. The Wednesday night Trap and Card Players celebrated the occasion with a party. A great time was had by all.

As is the custom, there will be no membership meetings in July and August.  Any pressing business may be brought to the attention of the Board of Directors who meet on the first Thursday of each month. The next membership meeting will be held on September 9.
